Adventures, stories, and encouragement for women who wander on their own terms.

Hey there. I’m so glad you’re here. 💛
You’ve landed in a space shaped by real footsteps on real trails, nights under star-filled skies, long solo road trips, and quiet moments watching the world wake up. Still She Roams isn’t just a blog. It’s my story, and it’s a story I’m inviting you into.

I’m a backpacker, a fat adventurer, a travel nurse, a full-time RV’er, and a storyteller who believes life is meant to be lived fully, even when the path isn’t straight, easy, or expected. Through candid posts, vivid trail stories, and lessons learned the hard way, I share both the messy and the magical sides of adventure so you can feel seen, inspired, and capable of taking your own first step off-trail.

This space exists for women who are curious, hesitant, excited, and maybe a little scared. Especially single women and fat women who don’t always see themselves reflected in outdoor spaces. If you’ve ever wondered, “Could I really do that?” you’re in the right place. Adventure doesn’t belong to one kind of body, one type of person, or one stage of life. It belongs to anyone willing to show up and try.

Here you’ll find personal trip stories that make you feel like you’re right there with me, practical tips for hiking, road trips, and big life pivots, and honest conversations about fear, joy, resilience, and building a life on your own terms.

Still She Roams is a community, a conversation, and a reminder that you don’t have to wait for permission to live boldly. Let’s roam together.
